Stunning sunrise is top of the shots

The Jimmy Morse picture came out on top in our weekly search for your favourite photos.

Every day at facebook.com/nlandgazette, we share your images of the county under the banner, View of Northumberland.

Then each week in the Gazette, we feature the four which received the most likes the previous week.

Jimmy’s atmospheric photo, with the sunrise casting a rosy glow over the dunes, was liked 235 times.

In second was a Neil Milburn shot of a dog making the most of its vantage point in the Cheviots, which attracted 193 likes.

Third place, with 146 likes, went to Kathryn Gillie’s view of a calm evening Amble.

In fourth was Colin Graham’s picture of Warkworth Castle, towering over a hill of daffodils, taken between rain showers, which got 135 likes.
