Complaints lead to drainage cleaning

Work to unblock drains clogged with debris has been carried out in South Charlton, after residents' complaints about flooding.

The county council surveyed and then cleaned gullies and drains throughout the village.

By the church, a new drain has been installed and a recess bay has been created to aid waterflow.
